Re: U.S. Supreme Court protects police from 'Miranda' lawsuits

You still have Miranda rights. I understand that but this limits your recourse when they are ignored. The only thing you say to the police if you are detained is “I have nothing to say and I want my lawyer”. I was pulled over once for a tail light being out and the officer got an attitude when I pu...

Re: Greitens puts out gun-toting video implying he’s hunting members of his own party

“Hours after former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens released a video saying he would hunt members of the Republican party who he considered not conservative enough, the Republican floor leader of the Missouri state Senate said he had contacted law enforcement. “We have been in contact with the Missouri ...

Re: They really are putting Tampons in Men’s Rooms and people are sick of it

I noticed whoever filmed that didn’t show a urinal in that restroom nor did they show the sign on or outside the door saying it was a men’s room. Given that it was in an “eye center” it very well could be a unisex bathroom.

Although the law is rarely invoked, it carries serious penalties. The follo...

Special counsel Durham had six preemptory challenges to prospective jurors that he could have had removed without giving a reason. It looks like he didn't use his challenges very wisely if he left the folks named in the O.P. on the jury. I can find nothing stating that the Special Counsel ever requ...

They can build anything they want. I have a problem paying for it. If I were a parent and my child were in that school when this happened I would have a very difficult time sending my child back into that building so I understand the desire to tear it down. I would favor of building a memorial park...

If the POS had a record on file for being mentally unstable, he would not have passed the background check and t...
