As long as they already paid for it, they can do as they please. Republican Swifties are none too swift since Taylor is a lefty.
From her Wikipedia page: "Swift identifies as a pro-choice feminist, and is one of the founding signatories of the Time's Up movement against sexual harassment. She criticized the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and end federal abortion rights in 2022. Swift advocates for LGBT rights, and has called for the passing of the Equality Act, which prohibits discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity. The New York Times wrote her 2011 music video for "Mean" had a positive impact on the LGBTQ+ community. Swift performed during WorldPride NYC 2019 at the Stonewall Inn, a gay rights monument. She has donated to the LGBT organizations Tennessee Equality Project and GLAAD.

A supporter of the March for Our Lives movement and gun control reform in the U.S., Swift is a vocal critic of white supremacy, racism, and police brutality. In 2020, she urged her fans to check their voter registration ahead of elections, which resulted in 65,000 people registering to vote within one day of her post, and endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the U.S. presidential election. Following the George Floyd protests, she donated to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and the Black Lives Matter movement, called for the removal of Confederate monuments in Tennessee, and advocated for Juneteenth to become a national holiday.

The same day Taylor Swift posted a message encouraging her followers to register to vote, over 35,000 people reportedly made a “Run (Taylor’s Version)” to do so on Vote.org.
“Vote.org saw record-breaking traffic to our site this week as we celebrated National Voter Registration Day, a highly encouraging sign of voter enthusiasm especially among newly eligible voters. Time and time again young people are showing up and demonstrating they care about their rights and access to the ballot box,” Andrea Hailey, CEO of Vote.org said in a release. :geek:
This is how its supposed to work. Every civic minded person should register himself. We shouldn't automatically register every eligible adult with a pulse, or allow anyone but overseas military and the infirm to vote absentee. Instead, the left removes barriers which would prevent voter fraud on a large scale.

Well thank you for pointing out that she has Republican fans in spite of her leftist politics. I appreciate it.

Yes, that's true. A lot of people register but then they don't vote.

According to the U.S. Bureau of the Census: "Voter turnout for the 2022 U.S. congressional elections was the second highest for a nonpresidential election year since 2000, with 52.2% of the citizen voting-age population participating. And registration rates were the highest for a midterm election since 2000, with 69.1% of the citizen voting-age population registered to vote, up 2.2 percentage points from 66.9% in 2018, according to Current Population Survey (CPS) data..

For the 2022 election, the survey found that nearly one-third (31.8%) of all voters cast ballots by mail, up from 23.1% in 2018. Almost half (47.1%) voted before Election Day, up from 37.8% in 2018.

Among those who were registered but did not vote in the 2022 elections, the most common answer given for not voting was, “Too busy, conflicting work or school schedule.”

The most common way people registered to vote was at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV); 29.8% of respondents reported registering at their DMV.

Among the citizen voting-age population, homeowners had higher voter turnout than renters, with 58.1% of eligible homeowners and 36.5% of renters voting.

Turnout rates for the citizen voting-age population differed by length of residence, 67.6% for those living in the same place for five years or longer and 40.5% for those in their current residence for one year or less.

Turnout was higher among the married (61.2%) than unmarried (42.5%) citizen voting-age population.

Turnout was higher among veterans (62.7%) than among nonveterans (51.3%).

Native-born citizen voter turnout was 53.4%, greater than the 41.4% turnout of naturalized citizens.

The South had the nation’s lowest voter turnout (48.9%), while turnout in the West (54.7%), Midwest (54.1%) and Northeast (53.8%) were not significantly different from each other.

Musical taste is a matter of personal opinion.
Taylor Swift's profession is judged by who sells the most records. She's sold 200 million records globally.
"Swift is the only singer to have five albums with first-week sales of over one million copies in the US. She has been featured in rankings such as Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time, Billboard's Greatest of All Time Artists, the Time 100, and Forbes Celebrity 100. Among her accolades are 12 Grammy Awards, including three Album of the Year wins; a Primetime Emmy Award; 40 American Music Awards; 29 Billboard Music Awards; 23 MTV Video Music Awards; three IFPI Global Recording Artist of the Year awards; and 101 Guinness World Records. She's been honored with titles such as Artist of the Decade and Woman of the Decade."--Wikipedia

There is zero partisanship in my post. Stating a fact. If Tay Tay gets 35,000 more people to vote, that’s great for our democracy.

They might not vote on their own and they might have a harvester come and "help" them.
