I never leave my keys in the ignition. If the area is not so good, I put my keys in the glove compartment while filling up.

I have an electric starter. All I have to do is keep the keys out of the car. They can’t start it otherwise.

Most everyone has an electric starter Bo, hand cranks went out years ago.

Yep, my '79 Plymouth TC3 was a push start too...

...whenever the starter decided not to work that day. Only took a little push to get the car moving, then hop in to pop the clutch in gear to fire up the little engine that barely could.
Kids today don't know how good they have it...
