The CIA & British Intelligence orchestrated a disinformation campaign to 'paint Putin black' to justify mistake of backing a proxy war with Russia, the official said
The explosive claim was made in the latest bombshell report published on Sept. 21 by Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh, who spoke with an official who has access to current intelligence about the conflict. “The war is over. Russia has won. There is no Ukrainian offensive anymore, but the White House and the American media have to keep the lie going,” the official said.
According to Hersh’s report, the war is continuing because Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky insists that it must. Currently, there is no discussion at Zelensky’s headquarters or at the White House about a ceasefire and no interest in discussions that could lead to an end of the conflict. “The truth is if the Ukrainian army is ordered to continue the offensive, the army would mutiny. The soldiers aren’t willing to die any more, but this doesn’t fit the B.S. that is being authored by the Biden White House,” the official explained.
Hersh’s report was published two days after Zelensky was in the U.S. delivering a 15-minute speech to the United Nations (UN), his first address to the General Assembly since the conflict with Russia began in February 2022.
For an offensive that is supposedly over the Ukrainians are still advancing through Russian lines on both the eastern and southern front. It may be a slow advance but the Ukrainians are pushing through the defense in depth the Russians have set up. Also, in Crimea, the Ukrainians have been attacking daily with drones and cruise missile strikes. Today they struck the Russian Naval HQ of the Black Sea Fleet in Savastopol with several Storm Shadow missiles. So I believe it's too early to say that Russia has won and the Ukrainian offensive is over.

A few random missile strikes are not going to affect the outcome of the war. They would need 100K perfect strikes to do real damage to Russia.
As far as the Ukraine army advancing, I keep reading the same types of stories. The Ukraine army has taken some small, unknown village on the outskirts of the war. A village nobody has ever heard of with a few hundred unprotected civilians. Almost every success story is like that, then the lines on the maps don't move.
