The most serious charges yet from January 6, 2020 at the Capitol. Stewart Rhodes of the Oath Keepers has bern charged with seditious conspiracy.

I read the charging docs and IF what they have in them holds up in court these guys are in a world of shit.

Not sure but it sounds like either there was an informant or someone is talking now

Several Oath Keepers and Proud Boys have pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with the investigation. Plus the FBI has thousands of text messages, social media posts and emails.

And you gotta give comrade nero his win, especially after all 2021 of him claiming everyone there on Jan 6th was a seditionist-insurrectionists...he finally found one actually being charged with something close to sedition/insurrection. The telling part is that Rhodes guy wasn't even there on Jan 6th, none of the charged had firearms, and the only person murdered that day was a protester...in this case a skinny 100 lb wet female US Airforce retiree who got blasted by the fat trigger happy Capitol Police security guard hiding behind barricades.

I completely understand why anyone on the right who would never commit an act of violence (the overwhelming majority) would not want to be constantly reminded about this issue and experience getting even the slightest bit of being tarred with the same brush.

Yeah, you are right. People on both sides of the political spectrum like to use anything and everything they can to overgeneralize and stereotype the opposition. That's been going on since the Founding. If you can believe it, it was a lot worse in the 18th and 19th centuries.
